Meet Dr. Ana Canizares

Dr. Ana Canizares earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences, Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health. A South Florida local, she completed her undergraduate studies at Florida International University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences before pursuing her passion for dentistry.

Dr. Canizares provides comprehensive family, preventive, cosmetic, and restorative dental care and is dedicated to helping patients of all ages feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair. She takes the time to listen, explain each option clearly, and build treatment plans around each patient's individual goals. As a fluent Spanish speaker, she is proud to care for the diverse Plantation community and ensure every patient feels understood and at ease. Dr. Canizares is a member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association, and she is committed to continuing her education to bring patients the latest techniques in modern dentistry.

Dr. Canizares combines a gentle, patient-centered approach with a genuine commitment to each person's long-term oral health, striving to make every visit a positive experience from start to finish.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Canizares enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and dancing.
